Third defeat of league's leaderPolabi against Novy Jicin 95-69 was the most important game of the last round. Novy Jicin dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Polabi 's 22. Novy Jicin looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Polabi 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-1993, college: Des Moines A.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Forward Matej Snopek (195-2000) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Novy Jicin's coach David Hajek felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Martin Kolar (199-1998) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Vojtech Synacek (160-2006) added 24 points (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Polabi.
